QiYuan LabsPHP upgrades

Terms of Service

Last updated: October 30, 2026

These terms apply when you buy a PHP upgrade service from QiYuan Labs LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("we", "I"), through this website or a payment link we send you. By paying, you ("you", "the client") agree to them. For upgrades and maintenance we also sign a short written agreement that lists your system, the tested flows and the price; if that agreement and these terms differ, the signed agreement wins.

1. Services

Delivery times start when we receive a working copy and your answers to the intake questions, and are extended by any delay on your side.

2. Not included

Unless the written agreement says otherwise, these are separate jobs with their own quote: adapting to new platform versions or APIs (for example WooCommerce HPOS order storage), replacing abandoned third-party SDKs, writing new automated tests, new features or redesigns, security audits, hosting or server work, data migration, paid plugin or license fees, and deploying to your live server. An upgrade is not a security certification.

3. What you provide

4. Your live site, backups and deployment

All work happens on a copy, never on your live system. You are responsible for backups of your live system. By default you or your host deploy the upgrade using our plan, after taking a fresh backup. If you'd like us to handle the go-live, we quote it separately and only touch your live system with your written go-ahead and a confirmed backup.

5. Payment

6. Cancellations and refunds

7. Acceptance and 14 days of free fixes

You have 5 business days after delivery to test and tell us about any tested flow that doesn't work on the target PHP version. We fix those and re-deliver. If you report nothing in that time, or deploy the upgrade to your live system, the work is accepted.

For 14 days after delivery, we fix at no charge any problem in the tested flows caused by the upgrade. This doesn't cover changes made by you or others after delivery, hosting or server changes, later updates to plugins, platforms or libraries, or code paths we didn't test. Beyond this, the services are provided without other warranties, to the extent the law allows.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to a job is limited to the fees you paid for that job (for maintenance, the fees paid in the 3 months before the claim). We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost revenue or lost data, especially where no backup was kept.

9. Confidentiality and your data

We keep your code, data and business information confidential and use them only to do the job. Where possible, please send a database copy with personal data removed or replaced. Tell us before sending health information, payment card data or children's data, so we can agree on a safe approach first. We delete our copies of your code and database within 30 days after the job ends and confirm on request. We won't name you as a client without your written permission.

10. Ownership

Once you've paid in full, you own the changes we make to your code. We keep our own general tools, scripts and know-how, and you may use any of them we deliver with your system. Open-source and third-party components stay under their own licenses.

11. General

We work as an independent contractor. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming. If a dispute comes up, we'll first try to settle it by talking in good faith. Notices can be sent by email. We may update these terms; the version in force when you paid applies to that purchase.
